Research and Region

Both the Nockberge National Park and all the regional authorities are involved in a host of projects relating to the preservation of the valuable cultural and natural landscape.  Across national boundaries, we are endeavouring to find the best means of protecting fauna and flora and supporting the people living in the region.  We have been able to develop good collaborative networking with parks in Italy and Slovenia.  But also within the region, important research questions are always seized upon and worked through.
